The series contains railroad equipment contracts and leases registers of the Florida Public Service Commission and its predecessor agencies from 1912 to 1979. It contains copies of contracts and leases between railroads, trust companies, and vendors regarding railroad equipment. An 1893 law required the recording of these leases and contracts with the Secretary of State (Ch. 4201, Laws). Each volume has an index, listing the parties involved in the contracts.
